Vegan Cinnamon Buns w/ Salted Vanilla Glaze
So, I decided to write about soft, delicious and aromatic warm cinnamon buns on a day I barely ate much (don't ask me why); and now I have minimal mental capacity to think. But I still want to write to you!!
While my room mate cooks up some delicious smoked tofu (which is currently driving me hangry), I'm waiting to get in the kitchen; so, here's how I'll convince you to make these uber delicious, irresistible cinnamon buns.
Now I don't know about you, but I would totally have one at any given time of the week. I would also like to be treated like a queen- my breakfast tray being the first thing I lay my eyes on when I wake up. While I'm stretching and yawning and still in half a daze, of course.
- A sweet cinnamon-y fragrance in the air
- The invigorating smell of freshly brewed coffee, and
- A refreshing zing of citrus fruit seem like a great great way to start an accomplishing day riightt??
Or a lazy Sunday I guess. I don't know. Whatever floats your boat!
Ohhh, and I also didn't smooth over your regular frosting. I added on top some very airy, cloud like Salted Vanilla Coco Whipped Cream for depth. Oh jeez, this definitely added a richer depth to the cinnamon buns. Plus, they're whipped up using coconut milk, so it was a biiiig plus for me!
Disclaimer. I juuust didn't make it though. I had it sent to me by Amai Vegan Treats to check it out. Ugh, I'm a huuuge fan of Jill's (founder) coco creme! It's made from scratch, with so much soul and love. I'm in love! But I'm totally sure you can whip up some yourself too, because it's straight up ingredients:
- Organic coconut milk
- Organic coconut sugar
- Himalayan salt
- Vanilla extract
Anyway, these cinnamon buns were made with love, and were loved; and I hope you love them too!
