Tropical Chill Mango Lime Smoothie
Growing up, every summer (and on most traditional Maharashtrian occasions) we'd have mango puree, Aamras with puris (puffed fried roti) and chole (punjabi style chickpea curry) and a masala potato dish.
OH. MY. GOSH. FAAAAV!! I should bring you all home sometime to taste some of the simplest things my parents make at home. It's utterly filled with love and soul.
My point being, I thoroughly enjoy mango smoothies, and Aamras. Mum called it heaven. From a health perspective too, I'd quite like to agree.
Especially during the summer, the lush juiciness that mangoes are so packed with is soo satisfying.
Apart from that, mangoes are packed with fiber, almost no fats and help with the following:
- Skin (unclogs your pores)
- Eye health
- Sex drive
Don't you just want mangoes more now?? Because if you don't, just ManGO awaayy!
I think mangoes taste even juicier and are so much more refreshing during summers. Add some coconut to it and BAM! There's your tropical punch.
I decided to take it up a notch and make a coconutty mango smoothie with a tiny bit of zing in there! And better yet, I had it in my real Coconut bowl for them uber tropical feels. <3 <3
To top it off, I added some chilled berries that packed this bowl up with healthy, delicious fun!
You're going to be going loco coco nuts for this bowl- its literally like a breath of fresh air.
Let's make this chill smoothie bowl!
